Ο θρύλος λέει ότι εκεί στάθηκε ο διάβολος και γέλασε, γιατί από εκείνο ακριβώς το σημείο η εκκλησία φαίνεται να μην έχει ούτε ένα παράθυρο. Έκανε λάθος: οι κολόνες κρύβουν τα παράθυρα μόνο από εκεί. Δοκίμασε να σταθείς πάνω στο αποτύπωμα και μετά να κάνεις δύο βήματα μπροστά.

The Frauenkirche — Two towers with onion domes, and a black footprint on the floor
The great red-brick church was built quickly, in twenty years, and was finished in 1488. Its two towers are ninety-nine metres tall and are capped by two green onion-shaped domes, added later, which became the city’s emblem. In 2004 the people voted on an unusual rule: no new building in the centre may be taller than a hundred metres, so that the towers always stay the tallest thing you see. As you go in, on the floor of the entrance hall, there is a black footprint. The legend says the devil stood there and laughed, because from that exact spot the church appears to have not a single window. He was wrong: the columns hide the windows only from there. Try standing on the footprint and then taking two steps forward.
